MY FAMILY
This video will show members of my family...my parents, brothers and sisters when were all still young up to the present. I was able to keep some very old files which helped me in making this video. My parents are Lorenzo C. Ramos(+) and Regina S. Ramos. My brothers are Florante, Angelito, Lorenzo, Jr., Rey Anthony, George and myself, EDEL. My sisters are Virginia, Rosalinda and Marilou. By God's grace, we are all still alive except for my Dad who passed away in 1963. My Mom turns 83 years old today, September 07, 2009.

IT'S MY MOM'S BIRTHDAY TODAY
My Mom turns 83 years old on Monday, September 07, 2009. We prepared a big party for her today September 06, 2009. Relatives from both sides of our parents were invited to attend the celebration. It was a great feeling to show our love to our mother for all the sacrifices she has made for her children. My Mom has been a single parent from the time my Dad passed away in 1963. She managed to raise us all and provided the love and care we all needed in life. At 83, she continues to inspire and unite her family. She is always a great and a very loving mother to us all. I can't think of appropriate words to describe her. We, her children, are so blessed to have her as our mother. Despite the many painful and difficult struggles she has undergone to support the family, she remains strong and dedicated to her children. We will always remember with fondness the memories of the past. How we all fought to survive...to where we are all now.
What I personally wish for her? Good health so that we will continue to be inspired by her strength and wisdom... Peace of mind so that she enjoys the gifts of a happy life and many more years to live so she will receive in return the love she sincerely gave and shared with us. I continuously pray she will always be blessed and become a blessing to others. Happy Birthday Mommy!!! Until next year.....

MY UNFORGETTABLE VACATION
My long vacation finally ended today, September 04, 2009. I went back to Manila from Solano, Nueva Vizcaya. I started my vacation last August 21, 2009 and my first destination was Baguio City. I stayed here from August 21-28, 2009 then drove for Solano, Nueva Vizcaya passing thru the mountains of Benguet province. I stayed there overnight and returned to Baguio City again on August 30, 2009 until September 02, 2009. Then returned to Nueva Vizcaya again from September 02-04, 2009. It could be very taxing schedules in terms of travel time considering the distance of the places(300 kilometers). But it was a big adventure for me to see these places and discover new things. My vacation has given me more time to know myself...to enjoy myself and discover new spaces that gave me a life that was free and a happiness that was true. I experienced peace...and I really enjoyed every moment even alone. I have so many beautiful stories to tell and to keep in my mind and heart. It was a treasure that I will always value. The trip to different places offered me to appreciate many things in life...the things I have...and even the things that are missing. Now I have a much better view about my life, about the lives of others and how one should reconcile both ends. I took a journey...and I enjoyed this very much. As I travelled back to Manila that will make me drive for seven (7) hours, I chanced to pass by a place on top of the mountain where I took some pictures of myself. Honestly, I never noticed that 15 days had already passed and my vacation is over. While driving home, I could not stop smiling everytime I remember the places I have gone to. Hard to believe and perhaps, some would not dare to do it alone but fear did not cross my mind. All I was thinking then was to explore and do what I have never done before. I wish I can have more of these in the future. Tomorrow (September 05, 2009), I need to fix many things in preparation for the 83rd birthday party of my Mom on Sunday, September 06, 2009. My Dad's birthday falls on September 05 while my Mom's is September 07. We expect many guests/relatives from both sides of my parents to attend the celebration. Life is indeed the greatest gift...and we must all make it as a gift to others as well. Happy Birthday to both of you my Mom and my Dad. Yes...I AM BACK!!!
