MY ROOM

It is raining here the whole day. Nothing to do so I take
some shots of my room. My place is quite small but
good enough to accommodate my things inside. This is the place where I do my video editing. It has been so messy for the last two months because of the many pictures I used for the video
presentation I made for the birthday party last May 31, 2008. Now, it looks cleaner hahaha.

TYPHOON AND FLOOD

We are now experiencing strong typhoon and our place is flooded. Strong winds and heavy rains the whole night and until today. This picture was taken infront of our house in Sampaloc, Manila.

A very enjoying ride of my cousin Myra with Marlon, my nephew, when she made her second visit to the Philippines in December, 1995. This video was taken at ENCHANTED KINGDOM in Laguna, south of Manila.

EXERCISE

I had my regular stationary biking exercise in my room for 30 minutes. It gave me a lot of sweating. I usually have it twice or thrice a week to maintain my good cholesterol level. I had a SPA last night(June 20, 2008) for two hours with my friend who is also a bank manager in the Philippines. Our work is very stressful. Today, I will be attending a wedding of a family friend and next Saturday, June 28, 2008, I will be a principal wedding sponsor of my nephew, Jerwin, to be held in Pinaod, San Ildefonso, Bulacan. Maybe, a baptismal sponsor on July 04, 2008. Fully booked...hahaha. I will be starting to make another video for my former boss this week for their family reunion too. I hope I can finish another video in time for the 40th day after death of Tita Marcela on July 02, 2008. Very busy but I am always finding time to blog and update my file.

MY MOM's FAMILY REUNION-APRIL 06, 2008

These were taken during my Mom's family reunion last April. I visited the river (left picture) where I and my relatives used to swim during our younger years. The place is near Uncle Lito's and Tita Lydia's farm in Bulacan, Philippines. I loved the place because of the fresh air and many fruit -bearing trees.

BACKGROUND

This is how I looked when I was two (2) years old. Very cute, right? hehehe. This picture was taken in 1964, more than a year after my father died in a car accident. We are nine in the family and I am second to the youngest. My Mom was 5 months pregnant when my Dad passed away in 1963. In February 25, 1964, my Mom has given birth to my youngest sister Malou. Our life then was very difficult. My Mom was jobless and she was just a plain housewife when my father died. But thru prayers, sacrfices and help from our relatives, my Mom managed to take care of us all. I grew up with so much hardships around me. I lacked almost everything I need and I never enjoyed my childhood because of my family's situation. But despite of poverty, I tried to move on and looked for a place for me where I can be what I wanted to be someday. It was a long JOURNEY...and a very difficult process but in the end...GOD has guided me in my DESTINY. At age 46 now (upper picture), I am still in difficult situations but these I bear with FAITH, HOPE and LOVE knowing that one day...MEMORIES will be kinder to me. Life must go on. I must live it and enjoy the way this was designed for me.
